Council Electronic Certificates pilot - LPI NSW

crumpled planNSW Department of Lands, through the Land and Property Information (LPI) team, have commenced the Council Electronic Certificates (CEC) pilot project.

The objective of the pilot project is the delivery of a system that allows the electronic transfer of s149 and s603 certificate application data directly to Councils and eliminating the requirement for hard-copy application forms.

Some of the key drivers for this pilot include more efficient processes to submit, receive, track and retrieve s149 and s603 certificates and improved response times to receive certificates.

Hornery Plus is providing project support services in the implementation of this pilot, including the eventual preparation of a business case for extending the service to all Councils.
